My first semester as a 2L was the busiest and hardest semester of all. So naturally, as a stressed out law student does, I adopted a dog on a whim just a couple weeks into the semester. Murray has turned out to be the biggest blessing. Ironically, I also ended up with the highest grades of my law school career that semester.
Professor Casado Perez--She saw my potential as a 1L and has been a constant source of encouragement and advice. Her door has always been open to me. Without her I would have never even thought to submit my law review article to outside journals, much less get published. Professor Casado Perez has been not only an incredible mentor, but a friend.
Law School Inspiration
I have wanted to be an attorney since I was in middle school, but even today I still do not know how I came to that decision. I have no attorneys in my family and really did not know a whole lot about the profession. It was a career choice I never questioned. I truly have no explanation other than it is exactly where God wanted me to be.
